The UBD street directory index data can be supplied under licence for use in your database either as a form of address verification or perhaps to have the UBD map number and reference appear on your delivery dockets, next to your customers address details on your database or for whatever other reason you may need to show this type of information. All UBD capital city and Countrylink street directory indexes are available.

These include Adelaide, Blue Mountains, Brisbane, Canberra, Cairns, Central Coast, Darwin (which includes NT towns), Gold Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Townsville, Wollongong, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania (which includes Hobart), Victoria & Western Australia.

The data is IBM compatible in ASCII format and can be supplied in either fixed field or comma separated. The information supplied appears exactly as shown in the relevant street directory i.e. street name, type, suburb, map number & map reference. If required we can also provide the index with Australian Map Grid (AMG) coordinates attached.

Other files available include the Suburb Index which show the suburb names, postcode, map number & reference and the Facilities Index which gives references for places such as Beaches, Parks, Golf Courses, Sporting Venues, etc. These two types of files are not available for the Countrylink indexes.

The data is supplied under a four year licence agreement which can be renewed at the end of this term. During the period of the agreement updates of the data would be supplied when available. You may require only one index or you may want one of the packages available for multiple files. Contact CMS with your requirements and we will be happy to advise you of the copyright fees involved.
