Lamination

Your UBD or Gregory's map is encapsulated in clear laminate that protects the map from excessive wear, helps reduce the effects of fading from light sources and allows you to use water based markers on the surface. These markings can be readily removed when no longer required. The laminated map is easily rolled for storage or transport but can also be secured to your wall or notice board if necessary.

Lamination with Hanging Rails

Hanging from a simple 25mm wooden rail, your laminated map is light enough to move and hang again easily. It has all the advantages of a laminated map as well as being portable. The hanging rails are fitted to the top and bottom of the map allowing for the map to hang flat against your wall. The hanging rails come lacquered in the natural timber colour.

Laminated on foam core & framed

When presentation matters, your laminated map can be mounted onto foam core with an attractive aluminium frame for hanging. The foam core backing is light weight and has the advantage of being able to accept pins. The 10mm wide aluminium 'D' shape frame finishes the map and is available in the following colours; gold, silver, black, dark blue, blue or red. Gold is our standard finish if a colour is not specified.

UBD Metropolitan Street Detailed Maps

So you need an accurate, detailed and complete wall map for your city? Well this range of customised maps, produced by CMS, is what you may be looking for. The following sample indicates the level of detail that can be supplied.

Based on our UBD street detail data, they are just like having all the pages of your street directory joined together. Available in the various forms of mounting mentioned above they can be ordered as a complete area or as a combination of sheets depending on your requirements.

Every postcode number, suburb boundary and local government area is shown. Symbols such as traffic lights, round-a-bouts, schools, post offices, etc also appear. If it's in your UBD then it will be on these maps. The following Key Maps show the sheet map coverage available.
